WordPressテーマ　monochrome 3.0 beta

WordPressのオリジナルテーマ「monochrome」をマイナーチェンジしました。

変更点は以下になります。

  • javascriptの修正
  • cssの修正
  • パンくずリンクを追加
  • 次・前の記事リンクを追加
  • 横幅を３種類から選択可能（930px,1000px,1100px）
  • オリジナルロゴが追加しやすい
  • Googleカスタムサーチへ対応可能
  • WordPress3.0 のカスタムメニューに対応
  • その他細かい修正いろいろ

3.0という位置づけは、WordPress3.0に合わせて
新しいテンプレートタグや機能に対応させたバージョンにしたためです。

WordPress3.0の新機能に関しては、
未検証の部分もありますので、
現在はmonochrome 3.0 beta版とさせていただきます。

WordPress3.0の公式リリースとともに
こちらも公式に3.0にバージョンアップする予定です。

CHANGE LOG

  • fix javascript
  • fix style.css
  • add breadcrumb
  • add next-previous post link
  • You can choose 3 width from dashboard.  (930px,1000px,1100px)
  • You can add Original Logo image from dashboard
  • You can use Google custom search
  • You can use Custom Menu in WordPress 3.0
  • etc…

            Thank you to replied me ! I’m a noob so I don’t know how to cut the different parts from the psd ..

              There is a guild line inside of my PSD file
              so cut each pease by guide line.

      I have to do more changes for WordPress ver 3.0.

  3. ps I have problems with polish translation some polish letters are replaced with “%” or “?”. I did not change the encoding it is utf-8…

    Hi momo-lab, Thank you for your work!
    I try this theme on my wordpress 2.9.2, and it has a problem.
    I want to show the excerpt on the front page, but it display by the whole content. I’m sure I already fill the excerpt with some words. Also the “read more” dosen’t work, there’s no read_more.gif and the words of “read more”.
    How can I fix it?

      If you wan’t to show excerpt in post area, you have to change the WP template tag.
      You can find more information about WP template tag in WordPress Official page.

        Maybe you mistake my mean.
        I mean I want to show excerpt in post area, and this theme show excerpt in post area by default.
        But it dosen’t work now.
        I can see your demo site can do this, but why I can’t?
        So please help, thx!

        • Ok so you are talking about “read more” link…

          To use “read more” link like in the demo site,
          click “Insert More tag” button when you make the post.

    Fantastic work!

    One problem though – I’m running WP3.0 RC3 and made a child theme to customize, but the width setting doesn’t work for the child theme.

      My mistake! I forgot to import the 1100px style sheet. Works now! It’d be great if you released the PSDs to customize the look a little bit. :)

      I’m sorry I can’t understand Chinese. But if you are talking about making original header menu,
      you can make in WordPress3.0 but cannot in WordPress2.9.
