今日は、わたしが作成したWordPress用テーマ【monochrome (モノクロ)】を紹介します。
対応しているWordPressのバージョンは2.6以上になります。
（2.6以下は未検証）
このテーマは、サイドバーウィジェットやWordPress2.7から導入された入れ子コメント機能に対応しています。
上部メニュー（グローバルメニュー）はドロップダウン式になっており、
カテゴリーまたは、ページのどちらかを管理画面から選択できるようにしました。
階層はひ孫カテゴリー（ページ）までは表示できます。
（ひ孫以降はCSSを修正する必要があります。）
管理画面からは、右サイドに表示されるインフォメーション部分の編集や、
様々な部分の表示・非表示が設定できるようにしてあります。
設定項目
- タグを表示する
- 投稿者名を表示する
- 検索の下に、折りたたみ式タグリストを表示する
- 右下の「return top」を表示する
- などいろいろ
また、サイドバー（サイドコンテンツ）を表示しないページをページ作成画面から簡単に
作成できるようにしました。
jqueryを使用していますので、若干他のプラグインと競合する可能性がありますが、
もし不具合があった場合はご報告ください。
デモページを用意しましたので、動作をご確認ください。
一つ目の記事の「read more」をクリックしたら様々なHTMLタグの表示具合が確認できます。
デモサイトは英語で表示されていますが、このテーマは当然日本語化してあります。
ダウンロードはWordPress本家公式サイトからダウンロードしてください。
バグや不具合、ご意見、ご要望などがございましたらコメント欄へ書き込んでください。
追記です。（7月25日）
上部に表示する親カテゴリーや親ページの数が多いと、
以下のようにメニュー部分がはみ出してレイアウトが崩れてしまいます。
大変もうしわけないのですが、回避策としては親メニューや親ページの数を
減らしていただくしか方法はありません。

.post a:hover img { border:1px solid #38a1e5; background:#9cd1e1; }
delete both line from your style.css.
Hi, i translate your theme (monochrome) and I have small problem.
I need translate “% comments” to “% komentářů”, but first letter in word must be “c”. If not, I can’t save it.
Also I need “translate” format of date in left sidebar from m/d to d/m. Can you add this option to translate file?

I’m not so sure about this problem.
Maybe it works fine if you use Poedit.

そこで、新たに教えていただきたいのですが・・・
「続きをよむ」をクリックしてシングルポストに移動したとき、
デフォルトですと「続きをよむ」以降が画面の先頭にくるようになっていますが、
エントリーの先頭が表示されるように変更したく考えております。
改造の仕方、教えていただいてもOKでしょうか？

実は、この現象はWordPressの仕様によるもので、私のテーマとは関係ないんです。

I’m not really any good at computers and I’ve got a few questions.
1.) Can I change the colours of the links on the sidebars.
AND
2.) Can you please tell me how to add an image underneath the blog name. I want to make it a bit more personalized. Can I put a long image under the whole ” blog name + pages ” part – that’s practically the whole top part. so there’s an image in between the top and the blog.

Hi people! Well i’m having problems with the gravatar quality in the comments area.. I’ve seen that the $grav_url property of the php has a size set to 35 (its in the link)

To change the size of avatar image open function.php and goto line 227.

Change the number “35″ and next open commen-style.css and goto line 32.

I love your theme! I have been looking for one for a few weeks now, yours is the best one I’ve come across!
I was wondering if it’s possible to change a few things… I’ve tried reading the CSS and figuring it out but have had noo luck..
1.) Instead of (Reza Evol Photographer & Graphic Designer) in the top left corner… Is there a way i can put my own logo in there?
2.) When you add a page break it says “read more” is it possible to change that.. if i wanted to say “more pictures inside post”?
